TRUCKEE, Placer County — November 4, 2026. Johanna Koch, Mary Brown and Dale Chamblin have the three largest counts in the Placer County portion of the Tahoe Forest Hospital District board election.

Candidate counts

Placer precinct totals: Johanna Koch 1,563, Mary Brown 1,516, Dale Chamblin 1,496, Michael McGarry 949, Margaret “Meg” Rab Urie 653.

Why these results matter

Three board seats are available. The district serves the greater Truckee-Tahoe area and extends beyond a single county. These are not verified districtwide totals, so this report does not determine who will ultimately take the seats. The hospital district is a public governance body rather than an election for hospital staff.
